To say that we were surprised to find out that we were expecting twins is an understatement. It was the biggest shock in my life and took a little time to come to terms with. However, once we finally got used to the idea we started looking around for all the baby things that we would need for twins, and were very surprised that the only web sites that “specialised” in things for twins at that time were all American. So we just got on with it, having to buy two of everything and spending twice as much as people with one child, just accepting the fact that it really is TWICE as MUCH!

With twins you get used to having lots of attention & are constantly being stopped in the street with comments like “Double Trouble”, which is when I got thinking that it’s actually twice as nice having twins & really doesn’t need to be “Double Trouble”. So in 2003 the concept for TwinsThings was born. A site that could bring together products specifically designed for twins (& more), as well as items that are practical & innovative to make life a bit easier especially when you could do with an extra pair of hands with twins, plus a unique range of specialised stationery & gifts. At the same time try and relieve some of the burden by offering “multibuy” specials, when you have no other option than to buy two of something.
